Claimant says:
"On 1/11/13 I ordered a used 1.8L engine from Rising Sun Engines. I then sent the money ($1090.00) for the engine and shipping. They cashed the check (#3407) from my personal cheking account on 01/25/13. I waited until Tuesday 02/19/13 waiting for a response from them about the engine. I called them on the phone and left a message with my name and phone number. No return call from them so I again called on Monday 02/25/13 and left a message. I continued calling on the 26th, 27th, 28th, of Feburary with no response. I called again today 03/04/13 twice leaving messages both times. Still no return call. If they are not responsible enough to hold up their part of the order then I would rather have my money back and I will NEVER order from them in the future. They shouldn't even be in business if they won't hold up their end of the bargan, or even return my phone calls."

  • I had my ex-wife call Rising Sun Engines from California where she lives. She called them requesting an engine from them. They returned her call and offered to sell her an engine. I have called them 12 different times with no response. The number I gave my ex-wife is the same number I had called. So they are completely ignoring me.

  • Rising Sun Engines must not care about their reputation. I complied with their request for making a payment before they would even ship anything to anyone. But they did not hold up their side of the agreement. Trust is hard to gain but when you have companies that will steal from the public then their licenses needs to be revoked and fined harsh penalties.

  • I need my money more now that I am no longer working. I retired from work and I am on a fixed income. I didn't expect to have someone steal what I worked so hard to received. Money is precious to me my daughter, and grandson. I am supporting them with what little I receive. Rising Sun Engines didn't just steal from me; they stole from my grandson.
