Claimant says:
"I purchased a tv on 2/12/14 at the local store (1213 Airline) as a valentines day gift. When I set it up it had a defect in the picture. So my 4 year old great grandson and I took it back to the store and showed them the problem. They acknowledged the problem and were going to exchange it for another. I decided I would purchase the next tv up in cost. However, it turned out I had the wrong remote with me and they refused to make the exchange. I explained I lived a long way from the store (the cost was only ten dollars for the remote) and I offered to pay the cost of the remote. He would not allow that either. So I drove home and got the correct remote . When I got back to the store I saw the guy (and he saw me) that had helped me so I pitched the remote over to him. He was a few feet away. The guy slapped it down and told me to get out of the store and that he would not let me return the TV. Another worker saw what happened and offered to help me but the guy said he would not let him. So I am left with a TV that does not work and they will not honor the warranty.. This was a $450 dollar cash sale. I was not given a receipt and they couldn't find the sale in their system. In my experience as an auditor for a large retail corporation this might suggest he is skimming from cash sales. It would also explain the difficulty and refusal to make the return/exchange transaction."
