Claimant says:
"I developed hepatic adenoma from taking the birth control ortho novum. One adenoma was the size of a football and weighed between 2 and 3 pounds. I still have adenomas on the left lobe of my liver. I was informed on August 23 2013 that the birth control caused the adenomas. I had to undergo surgery to have a right liver resection along with the removal of the adenoma and my gall bladder. I am now 33 years old and I have been advised not to have children because of the remaining adenomas. I always wanted to give birth to my own child. The pain of the surgery and the mental stress I had to go through for five months when they did the liver biopsy to determine it was not cancer was horrible."
