Claimant says:
"On June 26,2015 I sign a contract with NY International Contracting LLC for them to level and lower my lot, creating a parking lot for parking cars and to cover the grounds with gravel, and to build a two (2) ft wall finishing with the removal of all debris I was told it would take about 2 days. What the company did was build a 11 inch wall that immediately start to crack in varies areas. Covered several roots and stumps with the dirt and spread the dirt in different areas of the property, removing none off the property. A two day job took seventeen days, in which most days they were not working on the property but coming after sundown and parking their equipment and cars. Before they did the last thing and that was to spread the gravel. I told them to lower the hill that they had created in the middle of the lot, because it was unsafe for cars to park. by the end of the day they had spread the gravel without making the correction. 1. they did not give me the retaining wall with height. 2. they did not lower or level my lot. 3. they did not remove all the stumps and roots from the lot. What ever rocks stumps, fences, iron was buried beneath the dirt. I am seeking a full refund of $6,000."

  • It sounds like NY International Contracting is not a company that honors their word. It was considerate of you to be generous about the job taking longer then anticipated, though it appears that this was not the only problem with their work. Does the company have customer service, or human resources that you can contact about this issue? Was the work you desired specifically listed in the contract that you signed?
