Claimant says:
"I was approached and told that Moxie would spray and there would be no more bugs, etc. They came on one day, didn't spray as I was not home. Came back the next day and said they needed my signature to spray and if I didn't like the service I could cancel in 30 days. They sprayed and did a horrible job. Ants, beetles, every bug imaginable came into my home. I had Antimite for 38 years. Never any of these bugs. The ants would not subside on kitchen counter. Called Moxie back. They said to put dish soap all over the kitchen sink, they would send someone in a week. Another service man came and sprayed a little and put ant poisoning on my sink. Of course it did not work. I wrote and called to cancel. They called me back and said I had to pay
$184.00 cancellation fee. I was shocked. Yesterday they turned my account for $184.00 over to collection. They lied, did not do the job they were hired to do, and ultimately turned me to collection. To hire a lawyer would cost me more than the amount they are wanting to collect from me. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS CROOKED COMPANY. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS. READ YELP. Wish I had."

  • We are very sorry there has been any misunderstandings. While your account is active you are always under warranty and we will come back at no additional cost in between your scheduled maintenance. Prior to performing the first maintenance on the home we did have a conversation with you where we explained that if you wish to cancel before fulfilling your agreement to us we will not charge you to cancel but we will ask that you reimburse the discount that we gave you initially. Never wasn't mentioned or is it stated anywhere that there was any type of 30 day trial. There have been many attempts on the account to resolve the matter prior to the collection agencies involvement. Please call our office during normal business hours if you have any questions. We would love to resolve your account.
