Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My vehicle was repossessed last September and I paid the fees that I was given to get the car returned February 9, 2017 and informed that I would get the car returned the next day. I found out that the car was being auctioned and the cost for the prepping was the delay in getting the car back to me. This is an unusual situation but it has been a week and I still haven't received my car. I am getting no resolution on this matter. It was their employee's error in allowing me to pay for the car as it was already auctioned and they had a bid on it. I was told that the car is mine but they need to get the fees from the car dealership before I am able to get my car. i called today and Reza was rude in reminding me that the car had been repossessed. I feel that this is no longer the issue since I made the appropriate payment to have the car returned. I asked again if I am getting my car back and was informed that I am getting the car back."

Additional Communication Between Claimant and Lincoln Financial Service Hide
  • Mar 11, 2017, Claiming party added:
  • So I get my car back after Lincoln Financial charged me an additional $400.00 because the car had been prepped for auction. Apparently the car shouldn't have been returned to me. Two days later the engine blew. I spent 2000.00 getting a car back and they knew. I think they should be ashamed of themselves. They are a dishonest disgrace to businesses that are good.

  • Mar 25, 2017, Claiming party added:
  • So the reason that Lincoln Financial held the car was because there was a bidder on the vehicle. I paid a grand total of $2200. dollars to them and two days later the engine blows. They were only to happy to tell me that I could take the car to any dealer to trade it in. I think that this should go to court.
