Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I wanted to sell my six gold coins. They talked me into accepting one coin in exchange, worth, they said, the same as the total of my six. So I sent them my six coins on 9-14-12. I have not received the coin in exchange, nor have I received my own coins, despite repeated phone calls. I gave them plenty of time to recover from Hurricane Sandy, and from Christmas and New Year. They have phoned me several times when I have been out, but when I try to get back to them, all I get is an answer machine on which I have left numerous messages, all to no avail. Please help. My claim is NOT with Fairfield Company - it is with Liberty Gallery."

  • It sounds like the company is at least trying to make contact. Perhaps the phone is not the best way to make contact to help you resolve your claim. Do they have an email address that you could potentially communicate with them? Also, you could try sending a letter via certified mail to try and establish better communication. This is definitely a significant amount of time to wait for either the coin in exchange or for your coins back, and perhaps through an alternate communication means, you can get in touch with them and work this out. It sounds like you have definite been more than patient with them to try and work this out, and maybe just a line of communication being opened will assist you with your claims.
