Claimant says:
"She was retained by me to represent me in my recent divorce. She was negligent, breached her fiduciary duty she owed me as her client and she committed legal misconduct in my case as defined by the Kentucky Revised Statute. She also fraudulently charged me for things that never took place. For example, she charged me large sums of money for "phone conferences " with me that my phone records document never took place. When I attempted to get my file from her, which the law dictates, I am entitled to the orignal documents , she lied and said "it is in storage ". And then a week later when I go back to get my file, it's copies of documents that are not even dated or signed by the judge and also had another clients document mixed in with it. She also started to come across here desk and yelling at me when I questioned her on the problems with her representation, or lack there of. Her billing statements to me indicate one amount of her total charges but she actually collected more than that amount. I am very concerned that another innocent person in need of legal help will be frauded by her. She plead guilty to legal misconduct in a case she was involved in shortly before she took my case. She was suspended from practicing law which denied me the opportunity to appeal my divorce because she was suspended during my appeal timeframe and no other attorney would help me because they were not my divorce attorney. You can find the Kentucky Supreme Court document on that case online. I was in an abusive marriage for years and I had explained all that to Pamela C. Bratcher and she did nothing to look out for my best interests, she just saw an opportunity to take financial advantage of a vulnerable battered woman. And I have all the documentation to support this information."
