Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"SCAM ALERT: you cannot reach this company for returns or reimbursement! I purchased these as a gift for Christmas. The headsets did not meet our expectations.
I have been trying to reach the company by phone and email since 1/3/17 for return instructions. You can't speak to anyone as Astoria does not answer their phones, a recording refers you to their customer service email. Good luck getting a timely response.

2/6/17... I received an email from Cheryl H at support@astoriavr.com that they have a 14 day return policy from date of shipment with a 30% restocking fee, so unfortunately they are not able to authorize a return.

After reading other reviews it is apparent that this company waits to respond after the 14 day return policy. Others have reported they were able to reach them within the 14 day period but could only receive 20% back monetarily and be charged a 30% restocking fee."

  • I have yet to hear from Kanderian Enterprises. They chose to ignore my requests to return the product until way after their 14 day return policy. I returned it anyway and have requested a full refund and now with additional costs for claim filing. The Better Business Bureau informed me this company is not accredited with BBB.

  • Hello Vicki Hall, I have looked up your account information. I do see an email that was sent to us on On January 6, 2017 at 1:32:19 PM PST requesting to return. Our returns department received the order back to us. We have granted a full refund for the order totaling $247.94.

  • Claim resolved on March 17, 2017. My bank confirmed full refund in the amount of $247.94. Kanderian Enterprises chose to ignore my additional out-of-pocket costs for $27.97 for claim expenses. But that's okay, I will never make another purchase from this company again, and I will continue to let other people know about my experience with them.

  • I also purchased 3 sets of this VR product just before Christmas
    2016.   When they arrived they were absolutely not fit for purpose.   1
    set was broken internally and none could be used with the Samsung and
    Apple phones our grandsons had.   As the phone was inserted it would be
    turned off by the clamps, thus rendering the apparatus useless.

    The
    items were delivered to us via FedEx on 12/10.  We called on 12/11 and
    emailed and were eventually told that if we paid the shipping then we
    would receive a full refund of the $117 the sets cost.   We agreed and
    the items were shipped back on Dec 27th, clearly labelled with the RMA
    number provided.   The USPS tracking system told us they went out for
    delivery on Jan 3rd.  But that is where the tracking stopped, no-one
    signed for the package.

    We also emailed for updates on Jan 3rd, Jan 16th, Jan 31st and Feb 6th.   ALL emails are ignored.  

    We
    opened a claim via Bank of America Visa (card used to purchase) and,
    after 5 months, the vendor responded to the BoA communication that they
    never received the goods.

    So that's all you have to do, spin a
    yarn, get the client to send the stuff back and then ignore them and
    tell a third party you never received the package.   Complete and utter
    deceit!
