Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Feb. 17, 2017 my son was in an accident. I called AAA to have him towed, I was not present at the scene. AAA sent JOnathan's towing to tow the car. The tow truck driver asked my son if he wanted to use the car insurance or AAA. Which I have never heard of going under your insurance, when I requested AAA to tow it. Anyway my son requested insurance, which he knows nothing about. I do not have collision on my policy, so the insurance did not cover it. Furthermore my son is not on my insurance policy. Well the car was towed to Jonathan's towing. My son has been trying to pay the fee, but every time he tries they come up with a new excuse why it cannot be released to him First, since I am the owner of the car I had to be present. My son had the registration renewal notice, which they did not accept to show ownership. But .currently I am disabled in a wheelchair and cannot walk. To get around this the tow yard told him to get a notarized statement in regards to the ownership of the car, my disability and permission for the car to be released to him. Next he tried to pay with a personal check, which they did not accept. The next day my son tried to pay the towing and storage fee with my debit card. They would not accept that because his name was not on the debit card. My son came back another day to get the car released with his debit card and they said they would not release the car unless I was present. My son explained again that I was disabled.
Seems like we are just going around in circles and Jonathan's towing is leading us on just to accumulate more storage fees."

If the towing was ordered by AAA, then company should have honored that. Jonathon's Towing should waive storage fees due to multiple mistakes More...
