Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I introduced Jason to my credit union because he wanted to borrow money to purchase a car.
I ended up jointly signing the contract so that he could get his loan. I paid the first few payments because Jason was out of work. He made numerous promises to pay, which I have in writing.
He has not paid since September 2016; however, my credit would take a hit if I did not pay it on time.
Last month, I asked him for 1000 by May 30, and that I would forget the 2500 additional just to get something. He became hostile and has since avoided me altogether.
I have loan docs, his written promises to pay, and my proof of payments for his 2000 Acura."

  • I needed to update payment due date as I am accepting 1000 out of 3500 as payment in full.

  • May 25, 2017, Claiming party added:
  • On the date below, I had the brief correspondence with Mr. Hodges. I have heard nothing since this date.
Jason: Did you really sue me?
    Me: Sorry, I was driving.
Heavens no, it's just a reminder. I'd never treat you the way you treated me and proceeded to talk about me. People think I'm a stalker until they read what you sent me over the times when you needed something from me.
It's a heads up. You said that would be nice. There you have it. Filing the papers could end in a judgment, which would damage your credit for 10 years. I'm not that kind of person to benefit from hurting someone else. It's not worth it to me to cause undo hardship on another person.
    Jason: Ok
