Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I ordered a king bed frame from this company on December 8, 2013. On January 22, 2014 I was informed the bed would arrive in the next few days. I was also charged for the bed on my VISA account on this day. I was told several times the bed would arrive in the next week or two. Then I was told that the bed had been lost and they would have to order the bed again. The company finally sent the bed to me in April and it was damaged which required another bed to be ordered. At this point they promised that the bed would be shipped in 4-6 weeks which did not happen as the bed did not arrive until June 26 and once again it was damaged and was not the correct height as advertised. At this point I demanded a refund which I was told would arrive in 7-10 days which it did. HOWEVER, during this entire process I on at least 6 occasions demanded to speak to management which I was told would return my call in 2-3 days. I only once received a call back which I returned and was told the person I needed to talk to was not working that day and would return the call in 2-3 business days..THIS did not happen either. I also felt that my calls to customer service were screened and cut off several days at the end of this process because I tried using a different phone than the number they had on file and got through immediately to a customer service rep. This happened twice to me. I feel that I should receive interest on the $1486.00 they held for 6 1/2 months. This was the abosolute worst dealings I have ever had with a retail company and the customer service was horrendous."
