Claimant says:
"We had a cruise planned for March 19, 2012, we didn't buy the insurance and my husband ended up in the hospital 1 week before we were supposed to leave. They will not refund our money which is not what we want, we would like them to reschedule our trip. Also, I had notified them about my husband and they cancelled our trip 3 days before we were suppose to leave & we paid in cash. What can we do? I hope that you can help us. It cost us a little over $10,000.00"

  • I could understand them not wanting to give you a refund, but if you just want to reschedule, that's crazy, especially when you spent so much money. I thought Holland America were supposed to be good. Did you send them a copy of the hospital admission form so that they know it was a legit problem? If you haven't, that's what I would do. I really can't believe that they would just keep the whole $10,000 when your husband was sick.

    That REALLY puts me off cruising.
