"Hired Gary Mallinson of ASAP Home Repair/Home Remodeling to do the following 7/25/2013

#1 DE install old French door from double wide trailer, 201 Weeks Street Cleburne, Tx

#2 Remove old sink, Commode and lose shower head, replace 4 wall boards in shower tub.

I received a total quote od $ $1970. for total job. on the same day Friday July25th I paid up front and in full the sum of $1970 on my check number 8363 for this job.

A. Gary Mallinson said he would be able to install the door the following morning July 26th.





I called Gary Mallinson of ASAP Home Repair and he said they door company messed up the door and they would not have it ready for 10 working days as the glue had to dry. Then Gary Mallinson said while we are waiting, he would have his men start work on the small shower area.
Monday July 29th a labor showed up at noon stating he had car problems and he had to get his car fixed before he could get to the job.
FROM Monday thru Friday this laborer worked on the simple things I had paid for, Addition I paid for the f panels that was needed to complete the shower wall . By Friday evening it was becoming apparent this laborer and this Gary Mallinson had no Idea how to install the paneling's since they had broken at least one set of wall panels and the others were not sized to cover the shower area. Gary Mallinson then said he would install small tiles to the shower walls. this are is no more than 40sq ft. yet he said it covered more than 553 sq. ft.

The next week it was all as the previous week, late arrivals, No arrivals leave early and all kind of excuses to delay the job. Finally on August 8th we were able to get the small shower running. I called Gary Mallinson about The door and he said since his men had put more time & money into the shower, I would have to pay more money for the door project.

I told Gary I would meet him at 201 Week Street and we would discuss door and pricing issues.
I drove up from Galveston to Cleburne this is almost 310 miles. just to complete business transaction, and as usual Gary had a excuse, he said he had other jobs and he was not able to attend. Gary went on to tell me that he had used up all my money on the shower and would not door the door since we were so difficult to work with.
Since our conversation, I have had numerous over the phone conversations with Gary Mallinson of ASAP Home Repair. Each time he adds something else to his time, now he tells me he spent over $300 dollars more on the shower and I owe him more money.

As it stands I did Gary Mallinson $645 for the show along with $1,175 for the French door which remains totally untouched. Total payout, paid in full Check 6383 $1,970 sor services never rendered or services not complete.

This Gary Mallinon is nothing but a scam artist, he lies about everything, then he says you are to difficult to deal with when you catch him lieing and cheating.

I highly suggest Gary Mallinson and his type are run out of the construction business.. These type people give the industry a bad name along with showing us all how scam artists work.

If you have a good lawyer, I am willing to pay him/her to represent me in a case against Gary Mallinson & ASAP Home Repair, Home Remodeling. Thi guy has had numerous bogus business names and its becoming more prevalent that many other people have been scammed by this Gary Mallinson..

To support my case/claim, I have copies of work before and after all parts dates and times of laborers who were nothing but of the street workers who had no idea of what they were doing

Please advise if I can have something published to show what this scam construction company has been doing to good folks in the Cleburne & Fort Worth area.

    The attached doc you provided is blank, meaning there is nothing to read or compare to.

    Gary, I signed an agreement with you to do two projects. Gary, at no time did I agree for you to run off and spend my money I did not include me in with any of these charges . Also, you neglected to tell me the door project was doomed from the start. Gary, that was the shoddiest work I have ever seen, Gary we priced out both projects and you failed to uphold your obligation to advise me that you were of doing something, I had not approved.. All I approved and I did pay !00% up front was for Door & then the shower. Any alterations from that was to be discussed when the already paid for work was completed.



    Gary you took it upon yourself to drag out a simple little job with non qualified laborers,

    Then you lied to me about having to get the door remade since the builders did not make the correct door, you went on to say the door would not be ready for 10 days since the " so called glue had to dry ".



    Gary, I have the original copy of a binding agreement, that you signed for along with a copy of my check which states paid in full for services rendered. Gary when you cashed my check and took my money you neglected to realize that you took money under false pretenses. Based on no work preformed I am requesting a refund for the $375 New door that was never purchased along with labor to DE install & Re install $850. Total $1,175.



    Gary, to insure we have a satisfactory conclusion to this matter, I do suggest you refund my $1,175 which was designated towards door project and nothing else. Remember any deviation from what we agreed upon was made by you and only you.

Message from Claimant: Dear People Claim Today December 7th, 2013. This man Gary Mellinson, tried to get me to vouch for him to have access to add him to Linkit_In network access. This worthless piece of trash, he fancies himself as a Owner Contractor of a remodeling & construction co.

Please see what you can do to advertise my complaint about the shoddy work this phony none acceptable shoddy workmanship I have ever see or done. This guy Gary Mallinson is nothing but a gypsy, he takes money and does not complete contract already paid for jobs. This so called contractor refuses to answer my e-mails, changed his phone number, Now he is trying to move on to a new site " link it-In.. Peoples Claim, please stay after this guy, he is a cancer on the remodeling service. This man still owes me $1520.00 for a French door I paid for and he never delivered nor did he ever do any work on this paid for project.

This guy Gary Mellinson of ASAP Home Repair, Remodeling is a scam just waiting to steal your money. Please update my claim against this man; Gary Mellinson.
