Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I made reservation at Fort Lauderdale Plaza Hotel on June 20, 2012 and I spoke to Antonia. I wanted to check in early the next day at six a.m. Antonia said it was okay, but it will be an additional fifteen dollars charge for early check-in which would make my bill at seventy-six dollars. I agreed to the terms to pay the fifteen as long as I am able to check-in at six a.m. June 21, 2012. Antonia assured me there will be no problems. I arrived at the hotel at six and there was no one present at the help desk I waited for fifty- five minutes longer than I was suppose to. Finally, I saw a representative show at seven a.m. Bob was the representative who I spoke to who I complained that I paid an additional fifteen dollars to avoid sitting in my car in wee hours of the night. Bob agreed to to waive the additional charge. I checked out at eight p.m. and Antonia was there and she tried to charge me the full price of the stay which would have been seventy-six dollars. I explained to her what had happened that early morning with Bob. She therefore called one of the managers which I didnt catch his name literally took him twenty minutes to come to the front desk to see what the problem is. He checked the computer and Antonia was explaining what had happened and his response was " it is what it is.""

  • Hi ! we only explain to Missodenier that we do not have any note for us that Bob was not at desk so after we spoke to him we will refund $15.00 which we never charge her but no one can make her understand that also we do not have corporate office so we can not provide her phone number , same time you can ask that we refund her $ 15.00 and why we will give her wrong phone number to our good guest like her I am very sorry for inconveniece please we did not like to upset her , Thank You

  • In addition, you do not insult your customers by saying that they do not speak english,how disgusting is that. They have really lost a valued customer who speak english very well.
