Claimant says:
"On $/22/16 Empire Upholstery Pick up a love seat and a couch to be re upholstered in a white fabric (P/1853). The owner of the company said it would take to weeks we shook hands and paid a deposit to cover the cost of materials. He wrote up a receipt for the down payment and balance.
A month passed still no Delivery. I have made many phone calls to Empire they said the work was in progress. They said the couches were almost done but the said they ran short of material and would get it and we would have it a few days. On may 27th 2016 Roger called and said the couches would not be delivered. I went in and talked to the owner and he said he would have them for sure on the next Thursday. delivery was scheduled for 7:00 to 8:00 PM. No show. The next day I went down to see the couches, after some delay I saw the couches in the back were never started. Just as they picked them up. He lied to me all the time. I told him to give my money back and the couches. He said he would and he would go to the bank and get the money. Later that day he called me back. He wanted to have another chance and would have the couches buy 6/6/2016. Still no Show. So I learned not to trust him at all."
