Claimant says:
"I sold an old c.1902 Riedl Rezso Violin, german Bow, and Violin case on e-bay for $148.50 USD on Nov.09, 2020 (# 164484929256). The Canadian high bidder (braca_30), after receiving it, opened a case against me (Case ID# 5253477545), claiming that the label inside the f hole might be fake. I did not contest it because I believed that I could sell this again, and possibly get more money for it. Ergo. The buyer won his case, and e-bay returned all his money plus shipping, for a total of $215.76 USD on Dec.04,2020. I contacted the buyer in order to get the return shipping/tracking number. He e-mailed me that I must pay the return shipping first before he sends it. I agreed to do so. After sending about 8 or so e-mails to him, and he giving me one excuse after the next, his final e-mail (about mid-January) told me that due to the COVID-19 virus, he was in total lockdown. I replied asking why that has anything to do with giving me a return shipping quote, or the actual shipping back of my item. He after this, has not replied to any of my e-mails since. Ergo. The only conclusion that I can see why my item was not returned to me, is that this buyer intends to not only get all his money back, but to also steal my item. I then contacted e-bay, who then stopped me from sending any e-mails to this buyer. I believe that both this buyer and e-bay are responsible for stealing my item valued at $215.76 USD.
