Claimant says:
"I contacted a dealership about a truck I sent emails to make them aware of excatly what I was willing to pay out the door tax tags and fees out the door. Tracy Mezo sent email stating that the sales manager had agreed upon a price of 5000.00 down and 32500.00 out the door I let them know I would be missing work and driving 3/1/2 hours 200 miles one way in which i did and upon arriving that Saturday I was greeted my Rex and Sandy they brought a deal to the table that was not even close to the deal I had made with Mr Sandy Fordham 3 days prior. Mr Fordham said he had made a mistake he was angry and began to use profanity B.S. F boom that was uncalled for unacceptable and unbelievable and in front of my 60 old mother so I had no choose but to drive the 200 miles back to Florida and follow up with my attorney which had advised me to contact them and explain what type of agreement that the Promissory Estoppel really is so I tried. I spoke with rex he was very nice about the situation and stated that had it been up to him he would have stood behind the agreed upon price. Tracy was going to get with someone and call me back. that did not happen and avoided me. after that I finally was able to make contact with Mr Wilford the General Manager. he apologized for the profanity and was going to look into the matter and get back in touch, he never did, and then finally after several phone calls to them I spoke with Don Cardwell. he apologized for the confusion as he called it and said all I was really out was a drive. REALLY. there were lost wages for myself and mother, gas,wear and tear on my car, tim,e energy ,aggravation, disappointment, just to mention a few all day drive Saturday for nothing and all day Monday dealing with rude uncaring people was not my idea of fun but the social media loves this type of STUFF and I intend to reach out to ever source available. I have all copies of every email that was sent I will attach them as well thanks SAM"
