"She failed to diagnose a treatable issue. She profiled me as a drug seeker. I was treated in a most inhumane way by her. She allowed me to linger for hours with respirations of 4-6 per minute. She refused to consider any other source of my pain and abdominal distention therefore failing to diagnose my real issue."

  • Did you have any previous history of drug abuse that might have caused her to misdiagnose? (If so, that is still inexcusable but at least it would be some explanation of failure to diagnose. ) What was the proper diagnosis? What are the symptoms that go with that diagnosis? Were these sysmptoms noted on your chart at St. Francis?
