"Purchased a Glider Rocker 11/2/16 from this company. Paid $688.00 including delivery to Savannah, Ga. is where we live.
First I called to see about cancelling the order due to unexpected expense, but she said it had already been picked up.
Soon afterwards the delivery man called saying he'd just picked the chair up & approx date of delivery. So there's something here not adding up.
So he delivers it, hurriedly puts it in my house, I'm trying to talk to him just about the fire there & if it was near him, etc. but all this time he's busy leaving. Never hesitated! As I'm looking the chair over I'm just sick! My husband wanted to get it for me for Christmas, we being on our 80s, I tried discouraging him, but the condition of this chair has taken all the joy out of it.
It had NO plastic or cover over it, which usually new furniture has plastic over it. It had so much dust all over it that it literally smelled. I lifted the cushions & there were dead leaves all under it! I just got sicker by the minute! I've called her but she's not returned my call! Please tell me if I have any recourse. Thank you so much"
