It should not matter if I or my sister have an account with cricket. Point is I have a reciept from your store in temple texas showing I purchased the product. Seems to me your dragging this out when all you have to do is simply back your product and give me a pair that works. Pretty simple . Why is this so difficult? You will be out nothing and I will walk away happy. We all win.
"We tried to research Ms. Parcus account but could not find an account in our records. Cricket contacted Ms. Parcus on January 12th and she advised that she does not have an account with Cricket Wireless. Her sister is the one that went into the store to purchase the pair of headphones but she also does not have an account with Cricket Wireless either. We advised that all accessory sales from Cricket Company-Owned Stores and from www.cricketwireless.com are final. We regret we are unable to honor her request. "
This claim will remain posted until resolved.
The claimant says the claim was denied because the purchase was over 30 days - which it was. Cricket doesn't know if the headphones were used right away or put under the Christmas tree, and almost all stores limit electronics returns quite severely. Often you have only 14 days or even less to return anything electronic.
Cricket says ALL sales are final, which is bizarre. If you sell something, you should stand behind it - at least for a reasonable return period. Remind me never to buy anything from Cricket.
Regardless, whoever made the headphones SHOULD provide a better warranty than 30 days. Cricket should do the right thing and help their customer identify the company and get this taken care of. Bringing up the fact that neither the claimant nor the sister have an account seems completely random, although it does ensure that they never will have one (and seeing this response, neither will I, quite frankly).
I don't see that Cricket has a legal responsibility here - the return period is past. But in my opinion, ethically they owe this lady considerably more help, especially given the fact that the headphones were a gift for a dialysis patient. You would have to be made of stone not to understand how miserable dialysis is.
Yes. I have a reciept.
I bought it in November as a Christmas gift. I didn't open it I just left it as is. Placed it under the tree. Vhristmas eve my husband opened it just to find out it didn't work.
