Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"This complaint is about Credit One Bank. They haven't sent me a monthly statement in 7 months. They keep telling me that they are sending my statement to a lawyer that I know nothing about. I have been disputing and disputing with them about this issue. They keep looking over what I say to them and keep telling me to write them a letter. I keep telling them this lawyer is not representing me. I have written them 2 letters. And I am not writing them any more letters. This is not the issue. They are angry with me because I closed my account with them. I had no other choice or, to let them keep ripping me off. They keep adding late charges to my account and my payments are never late. They are ignoring what I say to them about not knowing this lawyer and looking over the letters I write to them. I want somebody to help me resolve the problem that I'm having with them. Because if they are adding all kind of charges to my account and saying that they are not receiving my monthly payments. They are going to be looking down the barrel of lawsuit. I send them my monthly payments right on without them sending me my statements. They are some nasty low down dirty people and I am tied of them playing games with me. They don't appreciate good customers. They want to rip them off. I am trying to do this the right way by starting from the bottom before going to the top. If you cannot help me resolve the problem I'm having with them. Please don't hesitate to let me know. because it is always more than one way to skin a cat. I just can't deal with crooked people when I am trying to do right by them. They took my balances from their automated system and fixed it so that it goes directly to a representative. When I ask them for the balance of my account. They tell me they can't give me any information because of this fake lawyer they are using and it's confidential. There is no lawyer involved. It is some of their crooked games they are playing with me. Thank you kindly for your support. If they keep doing the things that they are doing they are going to lose all their customers. It's just as easy to do right is, it is to do wrong. My belief is that everybody should know that. I keep records of all my business transactions and every money order stub I send them and if you would looked at them. You can see that none of them are late. My due date is on the 16th of each month. They started upping the minimum payments on my account and this card I tried to use as less as possible. Because I had problems with them in the past by charging late charges to my account from no reason. I also want them to bring my balance current because they are over charging me. Sincerely,"

  • I received a call from Ashley today on April 22, 2016. She said she was from the corporate office account department. She said that she would removed this fake lawyer that they are using against me. I do not know at this time if the problem has been resolved. I am waiting to receive my statements from them and then I can respond back to you. At this time I don't know if they have fixed my account with them. Thank you. Jewel.

  • Someone contacted me today about closing out this claim and I responded to them that I am not closing anything until I received and review my monthly statement. I told them that if it's not right. They are going to have a bigger problem. All of this could have been avoided if they would have been doing the right thing. They rather play mental mind games with people. If they haven't learned a lesson from this. Then, they just have to learn what a good teacher is like. Thank you for supporting me with this issue. I have been disputing this issue with them over and over and they completely looked over what I told them and what I wrote them. They want too keep using this fake lawyer excuse with me. I want them to go right ahead on and do it.

    Could you please answer a few questions before I make a suggestion to settle this?  This is one of the most bizarre situations I've seen and based solely upon your account it seems like fraud to me- or at least something very fishy.


    1. What is the total amount that you are missing?  
    2. What is the name of the "lawyer" that they claim to be sending your statements to?
    3. Have you or PeopleClaim reported this to regulators yet?  Strongly suggest you do asap 
    4. what are you seeking?  Your proposed terms of resolution only state posting fee.  Assume you want a full accounting of your funds, removal of all charges , statements sent directly to you and closure of your account? You should specify this in your PeopleClaim terms so they understand what you are demanding.
