"colonial oaks food service. seems it's nutritionally poor. even substitute.. most people there skip their meal, rather do without or eat potted meat, crackers, substitute meal not any better. when have barbeque ribs nothing but pressed patty with too much sauce. need someone go in there as a patient, see for self. my parents, barbara, willard ducote been there 1 yr. have their faculties and pay out of their money living service cause they have a little money, yet there are those on social security,no money and if they ask for 2 salads, or tomatoes or extra stuff they get it, sitting right next to my parents, others ,they ask and are ignored. i get calls or if i am there, i go to e j hospital cafeteria to get them a hamburger or meal. my parents grew their own veg, were grocery people old cajuns, they know how to cook, eat. the nursing home is basically starving these people who get upset and don't eat. it's giving colonial nursing home a bad image."
