Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I went to the Discount Rugs and Furniture to buy some dining room chairs they had the chairs I liked in a sellers book. I picked the chairs from the book (4) four chairs cost $716.00 +50.00tax and 59.00 delivery.
This was on the 3rd of Oct.2013. They delivered the chairs put them together in my living room. I called the store because they were put together wrong. they sent someone out to fix the problem. In november I called the store because the screws were falling out of the chairs and an arm fell off. In feburuary all four chairs had fallen apart I called, took pictures , they sent out a young man he fixed one chair, put back some screws in the other chair and said he had to order parts for the others. That was in Feb 2014 I have not seen him . I e-mailed the Coaster Company they gave me a claim #999 and some instructions to help me get this resolved. I complied and sent them what they asked for. This is May 2014 I e-mailed the Coaster Co. they stated they have closed the claim on March 19,2014 because Hussang said he would take care of this. "Whoever Hussang is I don't know that person". I don't feel that I should keep calling the store when they know the problem has not been solved.

  • The CSR in charge of the claim spoke with Hussang at the store and insured the CSR that he would get a hold of Beverly to resolve this issue. I am the supervisor of our claims department and I will get a hold of the dealer to see why they have not contacted Beverly on this matter.

  • Spoke with Beverly and Hussang the dealer and he is going to replace the chairs of equal value if Beverly wants to up grade she will have to pay the difference. Talk with both parties and they agree with this on resolving the issue.

  • Spoke with Husson the dealer on June 3 and he is going to replace the chairs. Since the dealer is going to work with Beverly on replacing the chairs I am closing this claim.

  • I Beverly Nixon received a call from the coaster company. the person named Rebecca told me to go to the rug and discount furniture store and pick out some other chairs and they would exchange the chairs that I have for some new ones, not the same chairs that I have because they have been discontinued. I went to wentto the store and picked out another set of chairs. They were dilivered 07-08-2014. They look Good as the last ones did, Iam closing this case but you will hear from me again if these chairs should start falling apart in an unreasonable time, Thank you for your help. This case is closed
