On 06-19-2017 I, James Broxton Jr. took my 1993 Chevrolet Suburban back to Cheesborough's Transmissions,Inc. at 138 Sand Bar Ferry Road Augusta,Ga.30901 ,because my transmision was shifting hard in first gear and leaking transmission fluid. I had my transmission totally rebuilt on 08-05-2016 at above location. On 08-04-2016 I entered above location and advised that I had a problem with my transmissiom and it was recommended that it needed to be totally rebuilt and a year warranty will be placed on transmission if anything goes wrong with it just bring vehicle back.I asked when could it be fixed and I was told in about two weeks. Then I asked if I paid cash for it now when could it be done? Was told it would be ready tomorrow. I paid $1300.00 cash and was given a receipt. Was called on 08/05/2016 to pick up vehicle it was ready and stated I owed $70.23 more for repair.I arrived to pick up vehicle. I asked for paper work for warranty and was told keep receipt as proof and transmission will be covered for one year. On 06-19-2017 I arrived at above location with above complaint. The vehicle was test driven by business and I was advised by business they was going to replace seal and that should take care of my problem. It stop the leak, but not the shifting hard in first gear problem. So, we got in vehicle and test drove it together and I was told to bring vehicle back the next day so they could put a new part on it ,and he needed the vehicle cool to do it. I arrived on 6-20-2017 before business opened so vehicle would be cool. Business pulled Suburban in and placed part on vehicle. Business test drove it and that did'nt fixed the problem. I was then told that business was'nt doing anything else to fixed problem , if I wanted to sue go right ahead exact words. So, I left there business and went to Magistrate Office and started the process. James Broxton Jr. 175 Jasmine LN. Williston,SC. 29853 (803)450-8600"

If the part were under guarantee they should fix that without charge. Even if they cannot be fixed that you should not pay for that. However, if parts were not under guarantee you need to pay that. The best practice in these situations is to show the car to 3 or 4 experts and then do what you need to do.
