Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"In early March, 2012, I received unsolicited letter from Best Freedom Financial. I called toll free number and spoke to Mateo Cuevas(the boss of the company) regarding my credit card debt settlement options with him. After discussing different options with Mateo Cuevas, on March 21, 2012, I signed agreement with Best Freedom Financial and enrolled into debt consolidation program. I agreed to set up a special account with the third party company Global Client Solutions LLC, Global Client Solutions LLC automatically deduct $345.00 from my checking account on monthly basis over the three years period. The total of $5,208.46 deducted from my checking account over the first two years period of time was to pay the customer service fee to Best Freedom Financial first, then the money deducted from my checking account each month was to be accumulated to settle 4 of my credit card account included Bank of America account, Sears Account, Citi Card Account, and another Bank of America Account. Colleen Del Pizzo was assigned to be my account representative.

From April24, 2012 to May20, 2014, whenever I received the letter from debt collection company, i had always either call or email Mateo or Colleen to make sure they got the message on time. Over the last two years, I had called Colleen Del Pizzo many times at her office phone number, but I had not be able to reach her even once. I had always run into her office phone voice mail box, so I had always have to left message for her instead of talking to the real person. I had also sent her many emails. She responded few of my phone messages and emails, but most of time I had no response from her.

On April23, 2014, I received notice from Hunt & Henriques saying that they were going to file a law suit against me on behalf of Citibank, N.A/Sears Gold MasterCard. I was so worried, I forwarded the notice to Colleen Del Pizzo right away as email attachment. In my email I asked her to contact Hunt & Henriques right away to prevent the law suit against me. I called her office phone number many times and left her several messages, but I had never received any response from her ever since. I called Best Freedom Financial customer service number 1-866-808-9696 and spoke to the person at the front desk name Brian several times about it, I was told by Brian that Colleen Del Pizzo will give me a call, but she has never give me a call regarding this matter until as of today. I also asked Brian to let Mateo Cuevas give me a call, but he has never give me a call neither until as of today.

On May19, 2014, I sent email to Global Client Solutions Company and requested to cancel my account. On May26, 2014, I sent another email to Global Client Solutions Company requested refund of Best Freedom Financial service charge of $5,441.00( should be $5,208.46 according to Global Client Solutions Company statement). Global Client Solutions consumer Compliance Department representative Michael Loyd forwarded my email to Best Freedom Financial, but he hadn't receive any response from Best Freedom Financial. On June9, 2014, I spoke to Mike and told him that if I still not hear any response from Best Freedom Financial, I would file a complaint to Federal Trade Commission in two weeks. On July 16, 2014, I filed a complaint to Federal Trade Commission against Best Freedom Financial. Until as of today, I still haven't receive any response from Best Freedom Financial.

I am a victim of Best Freedom Financial debt settlement program. Ever since I enrolled into this program, my credit score was severely damaged; I had to went through a lot of trouble with my job application; I had to suffered the anxiety of receiving phone calls from all the creditors;Especially ever since I received the notice from Hunt & Henriques, I have been so worried about the law suit against me and I had not be able to sleep for many nights. Colleen Del Pizzo and Mateo Cuevas have ignored all my emails and phone messages regarding this matter. They have even ignored my warning of file a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission. They have not doing the job that they promised to do in the agreement and they put me in danger of the law suit. They just collected the up front customer service fee from me and totally ignored me. I am wonder is this a legitimate company? and how many people are a victims of this company's debt settlement program? Thus I strongly request that the customer fee of $5,208.46 that I had paid to Best Freedom Financial should be all return back to me. otherwise I will continue to fight for myself until my compliant are resolved at 100% satisfaction."
