Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"We have a mortgage with Bank of America. It was made in 1996. We were contacted by the bank and offered us a refi, that would lower our payment and interest rate. After going through the procedure several times they say they can't do the refi for what they call change in property occupancy, because our mobile home is a 1975 year. We told them in 1996 that it was a 1975 mobile and Mr Rick Gordon said he didn't care it didn't make any difference. We also told the new loan person Christine Cain the year of the mobile, and again we were told it didn't make any difference. Now we were turned down again. We have been making our payments on time, never missed, and we have excellent credit. This refi would save us 162 dollars a month, which would help greatly since we are on social security. I think they owe it to us to do the refi since they knew up front what year the mobile was. I blame Mr Gordon and the bank ib Snohomish for this mess and would like it resolved."
