Respondent's Counteroffer Hide
The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:
  • "Ms. Rufty DID NOT purchase anything from us. We have no idea where our customers get their down payments from, it is NOT our business to ask. We CANNOT discuss our customers deals with an outside individual. We will be more than happy to speak to Mr. Aldrich (whom was our customer). We have no issues discussing anything with him. Thank you."

This claim will remain posted until resolved.

  • I believe every word you said but good luck getting a penny from these guys. Once you leave the lot they never want to see you return......unless of course they can make another dime off of you. Good luck!

  • I had a terrible experience with them also. I purchased a vehicle from them that had several issues that they denied. They also, supposedly, topped off all the fluids and when I got home it was 3 quarts low on oil and also low on antifreeze and transmission fluid. I actually gave them a down payment and worte them a second check for the remainder amount (which I shouldn't have done....learned my lesson). They were to cash the down payment check and hold the other for a week. This was on a Sunday, and on Tuesday my bank called me..... They cashed both checks before I had the money in the account. They flat out refused to deal with me and said that we never told them to hold the second check when I called back. Thank goodness my bank understood the problem and worked with me and didn't charge me for the bounced check. I learned my lesson and will never set foot in their parking lot again and I would advise that no one else go there either!

  • If I understand this fully, Once the Mans Loan was refused, Auto House of Salisbury Has a "Legal" Obligation to Refund the Proposed Buyers Money In Full. I would take it to small claims Court and Let a Judge decide this along with Compensation for Time Loss from Mr. Aldrich's Job to settle this matter.
