Claimant says:
"on or about 8-2-15 I contracted with ATT&T/Direct TV for internet and satelite tv services. The quoted monthly charge combine was $80.89 . From the first month I started getting bills from ATT&T and Direct TV separately . The combined amount was a lot more than the quoted .I called ATT&T and after a lot of discussion I asked for a manager and he went into the records and agreed that I was being charged the wrong amount. He told me he had gone and given me credid for all the mistaken charges and that from then on my bill would be right. Well that never happened and this scenario went on every month. Last month I thought I finally thought had it resolved when this manager told me he had finally got it ressolve. That some employee had mistakenly unbundled my package, but it was now fixed, but my bill would be $83.64 instead of $80.89. I said that was fine and he gave his first name (Victor) and his employee number(vt579u) and a comfirmation #(24361738827a). He told me to disregard the bill I had recieved and I would be getting a new one in the mail for Febuary 2016. I finally got a bill mail 2-16-2016, saying I had till 2-22-2016 to pay my bill of $80.00 or have my service disconnected. I paid it by phone on 2-21 2016 and the next day the disconected my service.I called them again on 2-23-2016 and they said they had no record of my payment and it could take from 5-7 days before it showed on their records and untill then my service would be disconnected.But I could pay it again and they would restore my service. I asked her what would happen to my first $80.00 she said that it would be deducted from my balance. I asked again to speak to a manager. after explaining the situation to her once more she told me I had a balance of over $300.00. that I had been making only part payments. That the credits given me were not authorized and the best she could do after I paid the $300.+ was $101.00 a month. I can't afford that and I would never have signed up if they had not lied to me from the beggining. please help me or advice of any other options I may have.
