On January 18, 2016 I located APPLIANCE EXPERT on the Google server and a few other companies to have someone come out to repair 9 of my top loaders washing machines. I needed a company that specializes in working with Whirlpool brand and this company had the highest rating of 5 stars. I called them up and I spoke to the secretary Carmen and I told her my situation. Likewise, that I been in business for 15 years and that we fix our own machines for the most part of the time and we buy our own parts to work on them. I needed someone to come out and fix these machines that we can’t fix.. So she set up the appointment for Jan. 20, 2016. The tech came out and got to the Laundromat 15 min. before me. I introduce myself as the owner and I show him the machines but my staff already told him that we had some parts that we bought that he can use instead of buying them from him. I proceeded to go to my office I am an Allstate agent and I was taking care of my customer. 10 minutes later I heard some LOUD BANGGING on one of the machines and 5 minutes later he came in with my staff complaining that he pull a muscle on his back and had to stop. By that time he has disassemble 4 machines leaving them out of place and part and pieces on the floor. He didn’t reassemble them back or replace them back in place he just left. Saying that another technician will come in tomorrow. The next tech. came in about 11:00am on Jan. 21, 2016. Just look around and refused to do anything instead he was complaining to my son about who told us to buy the parts for these machines and that – that is not how they business and demanded their service fee payment for them to come out. I was so angry that I waited a day to call and I asked to speak to the owner. Instead the person that answered was the manager by the name ALEX. He said the owner ( FRANK ) wasn’t available and when I told him that I was the owner of the Laundromat that they left behind. He start raising he voice saying “ Aah you are the guy that want us to work for nothing buying your own parts and that “ He didn’t even let me tell him my complain about how they came in and left my machines in a worse condition than how they left them… the machines were assembled. This tech. came in and bang one of them leaving the drum with holes. He continue to scream and calling me “ MOTHER FUCK AND SO AND SO “ Then bought of us continue to curse. Then he Threating me to loose their phone number because I don’t know who I am dealing with, before he come over here and “ BLOW MY BUSINESS AWAY. I asked him to repeat it and he said again and again. I did a police report and the number is HZ123504. Detective call me back asking me if I want to pursue this. I told her it cost too much money to sue contractors and that’s why they keep getting away with murder. This company has a 5 star rating in the GOOGLE sever. I hope this can help somebody else. By the way, I am a BLACK BUSINESS OWNER, who knows if that was the problem!"

  • Base on their response I will update my complain with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU by sending them a copy of the video showing what the technician did and how he left the laundromat. As for my heated conversation with the manager Alex I think I have a recording of our heated discussion. Lets say that the number of machines has increase. That's no reason for that kind of behavior it is unprofessional. Other company would have look at it as an opportunity to make more money. Lets see how he will response to the video and hopefully the recording of our conversation, because he is lying. As for responding to their calls ... by making the police report it was advise to stay away from any contact with this company. They should do the same. I have better things to do than to deal with this kind of business. As he said in our heated conversation loose my number and do not call me. Any more information about this company you can find in the website name WWW.RIOFFREPORT.COM -- Ripoff Report, I wish I new about it before calling this company.

The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:
  • I disagree with the explanation / grounds provided

    "If needed we will submit our technician's narrative of what happened. When the customer called the office for an appointment, we were told there were 3 appliances to be repaired - when the senior technician arrived he was instructed there were 4 to be repaired. In the customer's complaint he mentioned 9 washers/dryers to be repaired. The senior technician sent - Bob - has been in the repair business for more than 30 years. The technician has NEVER had a complaint like this on his record. According o the technician - the washers were back in place when he left. We sent another technician to the business to evaluate. The technician felt another company was involved prior to our arrival and the machines should be condemmed. The technicians collected a check for $90 for diagnosis which the customer was advised before he made the appoint. $90 was for 3 appliances - Any more would have been $130. Please note the customer stopped payment on the check. As to the conversations between the customer and Alex, the swearing and threatening started from the customer. Another dispatcher heard the conversation Please note the office has called the owner 2 times to schedule a visit with A-Appliance Xperts Inc and the owner of the laundromat. There has been NO response from the customer"

"Had a repairman come out and replaced a part on the wash machine. Repairman commented on what a good machine I had and everything looked and sounded great. A week or so later a buzzing noise could be heard. Called to get the same tech, but settled for a different one. Came out and said just the opposite. Said motor was bad and would charge $3 hundred to fix. Also said transmission was leaking oil that could go in a day or in a years to come will go also. If first diagnosis included other problems I would not of paid for the first fix. New washer would of made sense then with no repairs just a diagnosis!"
