Claimant says:
"American Education Services engages in unethical behavior, they are collecting on debt from National Collegiate Trust who does not own my debt they sell debt into investment vehicles which means they on longer owe it. In order for any company to collect on any debt as a collection agency or servicer, they have to prove the information given to them by National Collegiate Trust is accurate. National Collegiate Trust has faced several lawsuits over this in California and Texas because they are suing people without the proper documents to do so. I never signed an agreement with National Collegiate Trust and American Education Services claims they are my lender. Per the state of Illinois, National Collegiate Trust is a trust that is headquartered in Delaware and they are a 3rd party student loan buyer per Illinois statute. This means they have to adhere to the FDCPA and the FCRA. American Education Services uses threats of wage garnishments to get someone to pay. Since this is a private student loan, they will have have to sue me for the debt and obtain a judgement against me to do a wage garnishment. I have multiple calls recorded because I don't trust them. Their supervisors yelled at me and called me a idiot. My phone number was changed numerous to my mother's phone number for no reason, my mom is a breast cancer survivor and the calls to me were not needed because they had a phone number for me, the same phone number that I had for several years. American Education Services Shelly Bowman claimed that I did that, a supervisor from AES finally acknowledged that a 3rd party company Accounts Receivable Management was constantly changing the number every month for no reason. I have the letter from American Education Services showing that information. Why would Shelly Bowman claim that when it was not true. American Education Services numerous complaints against them for giving misinformation, threats, and doing things that are illegal. American Education Services has ruined my credit over loans that National Collegiate Trust no longer owns. I even spoke with Bradley Luke and he states that National Collegiate Trust is not a lender even though American Education claims they are which is misinformation and illegal to do so. National Collegiate Trust is a family trust not a lender because I never signed an agreement with them, they have not proven anything to me. Bradley Luke also advised me that AES owns some of the loans which they do not disclose to anyone."
