Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I have never thought to buy any thing from Amazon. A good friend who knows I'm an advitt reader got sick of me carring around those big books. So he gave me the money to purchase the Kindle Touch and a case to go with it. I placed the order without a problem and the next thing I know my bank account is overdrawn. Now I'm overdrawn because Amazon charged me for two Kindle Touches and two cases when I only ordered one of each. Now I called to complain and I was told the best they could do was to refund the money for both the case and the touch but there was nothing they could do for me with the overdraft fees. So the person I talked to gave me a $25 gift card(because $25 was all he was auhtorized to give) to use on Amazon for my next purchase.

Now I went back on Amazon and the case I really wanted was on sale along with the car charger bundle and screen shield. I thought great I have my amazon gift card and I will use that and pay the balance with my xmas gift card. When I placed the order the first time it was denide because my xmas gift card was not internet ready. I was told by the customer service to call back once I fixed that problem which I did. I placed the order again and I was going to use my xmas gift card to pay, but my balance was more then it should have been since I had the amazon gift card.

When I talked to the customer service Rep he said that my amazon gift card can only be used on products that are made and sold by Amazon. I can not use it on products that are not made by Amazon. So you can imagin how pissed off I was over that. I even repeated what the guy said to make sure I herd him right. Amanzon gave me a gift card I could not use on anything I wanted in the Amazon store.

Now I'm waiting for my order I keep checking the web site and tracking the order. I get the first shipment it is the case. Well they sent me two cases I could not beleive my eyes. I checked my bank account and the charged my account for all three peices and shipped me two of everything.

Now I'm yelling and cusing and screeming at anyone who gets on the phone. They tell me that I placed two orders which I know I did not do and I had the confirmation stating I placed an order for one of everyone. What happened when I placed the first order and it was denide they put it through any way because they had my bank card on file. When I called back to place the order again and use my gift card they charged that also.

I have called and bitched several times about my refund and the overdraft fees which they claim the can not give back to me whithout a letter from my bank and even that will be iffy.

Now they sent me a label to return the case and I am waiting for the return label for the car charger bundle. I receive the screen sheild so I call Amazon to let them know I had not received the return label for the bundle and I will need a label for the screen sheild. The person said I would have to pay to ship those two back and wait to ge reimbursed.

Now I am screeming that I will not pay to ship back something I should never had received. I wanted to talk to an supervisor(I asked for a supervisor before and was told there was nothing they could do for me)I was on the phone, on and off hold for 20min waiting for a supervisor.

When I talked to one I told him I want the labels sent to me to day I will not pay a dime to send these items back. I will never order from Amazon again and I have told all my friends and I will tell everyone I walk up to and tell them the same thing. I can not get any of my money back not even the overdraft fees without having to pull teeth. I had to get my bank involved do you know how much trouble that is. I would like all of my money back and I want some satisfaction. From every thing they have done to my account I have almost $500 in overdraft fees not including what the owe me for the last order.
