Claimant's opinion: Yearly quoted $149.00 then said price went up
I was contacted by the BBB of Clearwater Florida at 2655 McCormic Drive 727-535-5522 with a letter sent to them from All Points Accommodations Case no. 67233595. We were told at the meeting nothing about locked in verablie. In the latter they sent to the BBB it has many mistakes that I can prove. Number 1 it states we had bought 2 weeks of vacation time every year, Our contract states one (1) week vacation per year. They are to big in my opion to know what is really going on. The letter to the BBB States and I quoite ( how can Mrs Wepking base a opion on a resort she did not even stay at, when in fact it was her son Mark who stayed at the Villis at Somerset. The truth being I am Mark Husband of Nancy and yes our son Kevin Rabuck did check in on Friday with his 2 children 1 yr and 3 years old. We did not arive until Monday of that week. Yes ther was a lot of mold in the closet which was making my grandchildre sickly. On Monday when I got here I could smell the mold and removed the wet carpet from the broom closet and thru it out the front door. We then got some mold cleaner and fixed the problem ourselves. A wet mop was put in the closet which stated the mold problem. All in all we had a very poor taste of the villis at Sommerset. All point keep saying the did not use the wood FREE but promotional gifts were mentioned a couple of time. This I also have proof of . Thanks for listing Mark & Nancy Wepking

To Whom It May Concern:In response to Mr. Wepking reply dated 9/14/12, regarding our response to the BBB there was a typo on the amount of weeks they’ve purchased, I do apologize for that error. Regardless of the amount of weeks they’ve purchased, that is irrelevant, they are still bound by the contract they signed. They had 3 business days to view their contract, if at that point they opted not to keep their membership they were to follow the cancellation procedures given in their contract (see copy sent with prior response), which they did not do....instead they booked travel. As far as Mr. Wepkings claim about the mold in the unit being so bad it was making his grand children sick... I would think if the odor was as bad as he is claiming and the children were so sickly, their son Kevin (father of the kids) would have mentioned this when he called our office on July 30, 2012, 3 days after he had checked in. On July 30, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. Kevin had called our office to let us know he was having trouble getting on the internet, wanting the password info, there was no mention at all about a moldy smell or about his children being sick. I don’t think their own father would put his internet needs ahead of his children if they were sick from a mold smell. The first time All Points Accommodations was notified about a moldy smell was on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 2:12 p.m. when we received a call from Mrs. Wepking stating her son had called her about a moldy smell in the unit. The receptionist took the message and gave to the reservations department. A follow up call was made shortly after and was told by Mrs. Wepking it has already been taken care of, not a big deal; the smell was from a mop on the carpet. Although All Points Accommodations can’t be responsible for someone leaving a wet mop in the closet making it turn into a moldy smell, we do apologize for the resorts maid service not catching that in their morning cleaning of the unit and for their minor inconvenience. All Points Accommodations had booked several members at the Village at Somerset with out any complaints. This resort has a 4 ½ star rating with Trip Advisor and ranked #28 out of 50 specialty logging in Kissimmee, FL. Mr. & Mrs. Wepking may be grasping at straws in an effort to get out of their binding contract with All Points Accommodations. In reference to Mr. Wepkings final comment regarding the promotional gifts, they are just that, promotional gifts given to attend the seminar. As you could see on the copies sent with our last response, they clearly state taxes and fees not included. All Points Accommodations again request that this complaint be closed with your agency since there had been no wrong doing what so ever by our company. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration in this matter, it is greatly appreciated.Sincerely,Laurie WallAll Points Accommodations
In reference to the mold problem when our son called, us as they arrived 3 days ahead of us, and said there was an odor, he thought we had already reported the problem which we didn't know it was as bad as it was. When we arrived on Monday we ripped the carpet out of the closet & through it outside & reported the problem. As far as this big 3 days to determine if you want to cancel is crazy, how would you know in 3 days if the company you bought into was good or bad? We called to cancel a few months later as we found all the talk at the time of purchase that there will be all these special deals for $199.00, which was a laugh as we found none to our liking, but they said how can you cancel you haven't used us. Well here we are with a Vacation Plan that is not worth anything we thought it would be because you have to purchase the week you want to go on a vacation you have to pay a yearly fee and also all that money over $4000.00 up front. If you are so proud of your company we will sell it back to you & you can find someone else that can throw away money easier then we can.We will even sell it back to you as a bargain price. We are not happy and want out!Mark & Nancy WepkingClaim #1499218-197182
Claim#: 1499218-197182TO ALL POINTS ACCOMADATIONSOnce again we are replying to the issue about the call about the Mold, when we arrived on Monday (3 days after Kevin) we called about the mold, ripped the carpet out of the closet & threw it outside. Someone arrived a few hours later & picket up the carpet as well as gave us a new mop. Kevin also called as he didn't have Internet service for the 3 days. The reasons we want out of our contract is the same as we stated before: We were told when we purchased there would be lots of $199.00 a week deals (We found this not to be true as they were very limited & not to places we would want to go per their time table.) The yearly fee went up before we even sent in our 1st payment. You add the over $4000.00 we paid initially, the yearly fee and then when you want to go on a trip the week costs $399-$499 etc & you would be lucky to get the place you want to go to even if you planned ahead 3 or months. This is a huge Rip Off No deals are worth the hassle you incur setting up your week! The $50.00 loss for the Car Rental we paid for & never received and the Airplane Tickets we never received that All Points is saying they need to get their money back from the other company they hired to give gifts to lure us in, Well in my thoughts I would stand behind that company & make it right with their customers not just take the $4000.00 and forget about you.We should never have listened to them when we wanted to cancel & they said we hadn't tried them yet....Well yes we tried you & we don't like you! We should not have to beg them for our money back We will accept half the blame & settle for half & end this complaint for $2047.00Mark & Nancy Wepking
