Claimant says:
"I retained "Alan K Realty" some months back to ficilitate the sell of my house. It was on the market for about six weeks at (280,000) way below the appraised value) when Alan informed me we had a full asking price offer, with the understanding I pay all the closing cost, Ok. went through the apprasial process and inspection, by the way the apprasial came in much highter than the asking price. A closing date was set and that date came and went so I finally called to find out what the problem was and after talking with his assistant, who was clueless, Alan finally contacted some day's later to say the buyer's hadn't gotten their required paper work in on time. I have now been in an extended stay hotel for a week on the insistance from Alan K's assistant that everthing was on track ie the loan and I had four day's to evacate the property before my 30 day limit to vacate would be up. I moved heaven and earth to move everything into storage and get a hotel room. another two weeks pass with two closing dead lines missed until I find out that the loan underwriters found a recent short sale on the buyer history. I was at that time out almost 2,000 dollars and continuing to pay my mortgage, hotel cost and storage. I asked for my 1,000 earnest money back and Mr Alan K informed me that due to financing falling through I was not entitled to that refund. HIs determination to get his commission cause me to be left high and dry and holding the bag for all the unnessasary expences."
