Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"This company moved me out to Fountain Hills on Oct. 1, 2012 As I began unpacking and organizing, I noticed my diamond ring and .38 Special pistol. I had packed the pistol in two holsters and laid it in a bottom drawer of my wicker dresser and my diamond ring in a small dish with other pieces of jewelery. The man's diamond ring was the only piece missing. I am sick about these pieces because they had great sentimental value to me."

  • Nov 30, 2012, Claiming party added:
  • Hello - hoping to get this settled. These missing items are very special to me. The gentleman I reached at the company's phone number told me that the owner had recently passed away and I was told these boys owned the company and it was just the two of them. I could tell I was talking to him at home. I was told that due to owners death the company was going out of business. I see them all over town moving others. It doesn't matter if someone died, these two workers committed the act and we were also told they are licensed and bonded. So somebody needs to pay up and make this right!

  • These men are thieves and are not going out of business as we were told. It is Phil and Travis's company and the owner did not die! The owner is them!

  • Have you made a police report? This would help guard you against any activity done with a stolen gun. The ring may show up in a pond shop also helping alert pond shop owners that they are receiving stolen merchandise. If the moving company is bonded and insured then you should be able to file a claim and let them know you have a police report. There is also a website called American Alliance of Ethical Movers org. Maybe you can find out more infomation on the moving company. There is an office located in Scottsdale AZ. You can also make a report to Better Business Bureau about this company. At least this will help alert consumers know about this company business practice. With all the tragic incidents involving guns this may help with public safety. Hope this helps with some of your fustration.
