Claimant says:
"I paid for two pigs from David and Shireen Fletcher. One was for my breeding program the other he scammed me into buying by saying he would give me a better deal on the boy if I bought this girl as well. He started acting strange after he received my payment in full for $1,750. Asked me if I would rather have a plain pink pig that was smaller. I said no way I want the pig i paid for. Within a week he called and said my pig was dead. And now once again offering me this pink pig. I have requested my money back. My husband and i have called to tell him we do not want another pig but he refuses to return the money. He says he will send me two other female pigs in exchange. But that is not what I want or need. I have proof Shireen Fletcher cashed my check and I have a voice mail from David stating the pig I paid for died. But still no money. i sent him a way to send my money back pay-pal but he never did. Please help my family get this money back. We have 7 children and one income. $1,700 is a lot of money to us."

  • RReceived emails this morning a.m. Would like to resolve issues, however little confused, we have never tried to interrupt your adds, more importantly you have commited slander on Hobbly which I'm sure you'll find Hobbly won't tolerate, and your comment in reference to me getting my lawyer involved is very true, you were perusing a verbal agreement to purchase two pigs, in the waiting period one passed you than agreed to modify your two pigs to two females, than once again modified to one male and mint back as well. Ager slamming us on Hobbly now we are entertaining getting our lawyer involved. We have been out of town on holiday for several days to come home to your slander and threats of flying to our area and taking us to small claims court. Even through all this we still have your option pigs available and still willing to send them however, you have yet to share with tis third party entity that you have successful purchased our pigs and the contract that was signed from your fist purchase does state nonrefundable and we will replace pigs if needed. It still bothers us that you would intentially slander our firm. We understand that you have found cheaper pigs somewhere else that does give you the right to alter our agreement. Our position position is still clear that we will honor a male and Female to be sold to your family. As far as the other indications of a few other deals be careful what you listen to there is always two sides to the story. Even though we are having a difficult time with the closing of this deal we would never slander your family. You didn't seem to care about ours. The letters that we have received from your children prove that these were to be family pets however you had no problem selling them or advertising them for sale. We wee aware that we were honoring a good price as well for the two who were saving up their money to get one, was thy a scam to receive them cheaper? I would hope not. You mention God in some of our conversations if you couldn't afford it after the 4 th pig we wish you just came out and told us, not order two more than days later. We have been blessed with our business and have no intentions of not honoring our verbal agreement. Hope you will reverse the wandering as well

"We also purchased 5 pigs and 2 mini donkeys. We agreed to pick them up at a specified future date. After the agreement and money changing hands they insisted on us picking them up right away, with David acknowledging the original deal and blaming his wife (behind her back) for the issue.
They gave us paperwork stating that the donkeys each came with a halter and lead rope. They refused to give them, telling us they are cheap and to just go buy them ourselves. THEN they claimed the paperwork they gave us was written for someone else and gave it to us for information purposes only (after we pressed them to please provide us with what we paid for).
Next, they refused to give us the health papers for the donkeys and ultimately did text us a picture of some health papers that can’t be positively matched to the animals we purchased.
They were hateful, rude and even confrontational as soon as we pressed them to please honor their agreement.
We paid them exactly the amount they asked for (even paid them early) we put up with them changing the delivery date and they still didn’t honor their word. On ANYTHING.
These are very dirty characters. Stay clear."

  • We also bought a pig from them that died they said. Got a lesser pig in return. Also at the same time of purchasing the pig we purchased 2 mini goats. They said that those 2 had come down with medical problems. Got 2 different goats. Buyer beware.
