Claimant says:
"Purchased two apple iphones-4G in january 2012 they do not work in my automobile. verizon
has verified this on more than 4or 5 occasions. I have spent endless hours on the telephone
and/or at one of their outlets. everytime I have called or visited them I have explained that the phone won't work in my '95 Jaguar they claim they never heard of such a thing. I tested the same type of phone with friend using at&t-the phone works. I tried it with a verizon 4s and it works. I called the Jaguar dealer and he has heard of the same problem with verizon and Jaguar.

Verizon had me turn off the radio,the air and put the phone on speaker and it worked. They
said problem solved, nothing they can do about it. I have been with verizon for at least15 yrs.
I can't drive in my car,get a call turn off my air conditioning (in Fl.) turn off my radio
turn on my speaker phone (people in car) just to get my phone to work.

I would like to cancel my contract even give them back the two phones for the $200. that they cost in total or upgrade me to the 4s for the $100. for each phone that I would have
paid if I had chosen the 4s at the time of signing the two year contract. I have paid for two phones for 7 months for two phones that won't work in my auto. Verizon sent us 2 new phones--same problem. I am not going to sell my car just so my phones work.refused

In most every situation the sales people agreed with us but once a manager got involved
they spent a matter of minutes talking with us and flately said there is nothing they can do.

They have refused to do anything.

  • I offered to pay an additional $100. for each phone for an upgrade to (2) 4s
    iphones the same additional cost for the 4s if I had choosen them at time of signing agreement. The other option that I offered was to return the (2) 4G
    iphones, cancel contract and call it even. This offer is good until Aug. 5th, 2012.
