Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I signed contract with Woody Wood, owner of W. Wood & Associates Development on
June 6, 2016, for installation of 1,249 sq. ft. of artificial turf at 111 Terracina Boulevard, Redlands, CA. The work was started and completed as promised.

However, Mr. Wood did not go by the rules of the City of Redlands regarding the water
rebate. The City told me the land had to be measured by the city prior to any work being
started. When I advised Mr. Wood of this requirement to receive the rebate he stated
"I take a picture and file for your rebate "they know me down there and you will get your
rebate.

When the work was completed, Mr. Wood said he would come by and pick up the paperwork and take it to City Hall with the photo. After I did not hear from him after several promises
to come by, I contacted the city and they said they would not accept a photo and, further, they had no information that Mr. Wood had asked that the property be measured. Further, they stated that since he did not follow the requirements of the city I would not be eligible for the $300+ rebate.

Due to Mr. Wood's failure to follow city rules, I am asking that he be required to reimburse me for the rebate amount."
