Claimant says:
"In 2008, I paid, in four payments, $160 (+ or -) for presdential coins gold plated. A total of 40, beginning with G Washington, ending with R Reagan. The company sent me those fairly regularly. Then, after I got the R B Hayes coin, they informed me that they sent the coins on cards mistakenly. If I wanted to continue to get the cards, they now said I needed to pay over $3 each. I elected not to get the cards. They sent the J Garfield coin on blank paper, which was fine with me. The Chester Arthur coin was supposed to be released on Feb 28, 2012. I never received it. I called the company and they said the gov't stopped printing the coins and gave me several options, one of which was to get back a check for the remaining 20 coins. I sent in the request for the check. They sent me a check for $4. I called again, asking why I didnt get the full amount (($80). They said that they paid over several years. This is not acceptable, as I paid in full in a few months.
At the same time, the man on the phone said that the coins are being done again, and if I send back the $4 check, they would continue to send me the coins. I sent the check back and after several weeks not getting anything from them, I called again. Now, the man says the coins are back-ordered an no telling how long it will take.
I am not happy at all wth this company, and at this point, I would just like to get my $80 back in one lump sum. I dont think I should have to take 20 checks over several years. Their public relations leave much to be desired along with the shoddy service I have been getting."
