We would like to respond to the claim by addressing your concerns. 1. Your merchant numbers with WBS are incorrect. Below numbers are correct MID with WBS.• MID# 518089080104201 (Norgetown Cleaners)• MID# 518089090106329 (Best Custom Cleaners)2. “They have over the past 12 years repeatedly renewed my agreement with them automatically without any notifications in writing or verbally” Please see attached your agreement with WBS. • Equipment Purchase and Service Agreement - Best Custom Cleaners - 2013.07.26• Equipment Purchase and Service Agreement - Norgetown Cleaners - 2008.06.13A pink copy of each agreement was given to you when you signed them on 07/26/2013 and 06/13/2008 respectively. All the contract terms and conditions are clearly written on the 2nd page, which our sales agent explained to you. 3. “I am being threaten with a $6,090.32 fine at one location and a $2,823.15 at the other location plus $395.00 per location for the remainder of months of the agreement” When you called us on 08/12/2014 to notify us that you switched processing company to Merchant Lynx, we clearly and thoroughly explained you our terms and conditions. We also asked you to meet our account executive on 08/13/2014 to go over the other company’s offer so that we can analyze and submit a counter offer to you. When our account executive David Yoon visited you on 08/13/14, you asked him to just leave because your new company said they will pay for your early termination fee. You mentioned that the other company is offering you a flat 1.60% rate of the total monthly volume. We explained you why that would be impossible because the Card Association’s interchange (the original cost) at your location exceeds 1.60%. Please check the official Visa website for the actual interchange cost athttp://usa.visa.com/download/merchants/Visa-Interchange-Reimbursement-Fees-April-2014.pdfAny company has to charge you more than the original cost to make profit. No company can offer your 1.60% flat rate. You also told us you purchased terminal from the other company. We asked you why you would pay for the terminal when we provides one at free of charge while you use us. $6,090.32 and $2,823.15 is the full amount for each location. $395.00 is included in the full amount.We are NOT threatening you. As we already explained you over the phone on 08/12/14, our primary goal is to keep you as a happy customer and keep servicing you. The early termination fee amount is our last resort to recover the future profit during the remaining contract term, should you still decide to breach the contract term. Per clause 11 of the terms and conditions, your current contract term is still effective as follow:Norgetown Cleaners: 06/12/2014 – 06/12/2017Best Custom Cleaners: 07/26/2013 – 07/26/2016We strongly disagree with merchant’s false claim on us. We did not over charge the merchant. We have been saving the merchant extra fees on her merchant processing by waiving PCI DSS fees, Regulatory Product Bundle fees, Annual fees, etc which other companies charge you to increase their profit. Hello, WBS responded to merchant by posting on PeopleClaim.com on 09/10/2014. WBS also sent a copy of response via USPS certified mail to merchant. WBS has been waiting merchant's response to resolve merchant's issues and concerns, but merchant has yet to respond as of 10/01/2014.
