Claimant says:
"I purchased furniture from Bobs Furniture in Mays Landing N.J. not knowing it was being financed through Wells Fargo Bank My payments are 103.25 a month .Now a few months my payments were late but not that much late bur for a 2 or 3 days as my payments are due on the 1st. of every month now for the last 4or 5o months i ve sent from 25.00to almost 40.00dollars extra for the principal.Now i just received my payment for April which is 130.65.MY statement reads prev.bal. 2603.13.paymt.128025 for March;fees charged 37.00 interesy64.15.Because my payment was made on the 2nd. of March iam being charged late fees which i dont understand if i sent extra why still being charged another 27.40. I was told my payments are due on the 1st. of every month there is no grace period on my kind of account which i dont understand because on most any kind of accounts there is a grace period of 5 to 10 days at least.I feel with this kind of pay plan i will never get this furniture payed off for another 5 to 7 years .I hope u can help with my problem for an answer or solution Thank You Nancy Snyder"

"Sorry the below submitted before I was finished. I'd suggest you explain to the supervisor that you're a little lost with your account and need to get everything put straight. Ask if you can change the payment date. For instance, if you get paid on the 4th, ask if the bank can change your payment date to the 6th. Then set up an automatic draft payment or use online bill pay to make sure that the payment gets there on time. Ask if there's any way to remove a late fee or two. Many banks are willing to work with customers to turn them into solid banking customers. It sounds to me as if you don't really understand the way your account works; a good bank will help you to understand it and make good. It's really important for your credit to get this straight. From what you say, you have a history of making late payments, which will not bode well for future loans you may need. Hang in there and get it all straight."
