Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I, Brenda Transou, went to Walgreen Store to buy a product,Minoxidil, which is used to grow your hair where their is thinning. I applied it to my scalpe and it immediately start burning real bad. I though is this suppose to burn like this, well I applied another dose latter that day and it burned even more that I couldn't bear it any more and I looked at the label and started reading the ingredients and then I saw that they had stocked this product that had expired. This happened Oct. 2013, I brought the product back and they gave me my money back but I told them I wanted to file a claim on this expired product. The claim has been filed but nothing has been done. I had a reaction where my ears and scalp are inflamed. Sedgwick is the Company that handles the claims. I did email Sedgwick pictures of my scalp and ears. I have not contacted the Health Department yet. Its been five months now and nothing has been done. Sedgwick told me If I see a doctor I had to pay for the bill and its not guaranteed that we reimburse you and I told her that I don't have insurance. I keep calling Sedgwick and all I get is a voice mail and I keep leaving messages and still I haven't heard anything,"
