Claimant says:
"I was working as a contract driver for VIX Cargo LLC .I did one trip (3weeks on the road). i brought the truck back as the a/c broke to fix it and service it. I waited 1 week and asked if the truck was ready work. I learned they gave the truck to someone else to go on the road with and told me they will give me another one. 3 weeks passed and still no truck ,no work. They just keep saying trucks are being fixed and changing the story daily.I have lost 3 weeks work and pay."

  • A company can not contract someone for work to make a living and not have the right equipment. If that happens,they need to advise the person right away and terminate the contract in good faith so one can move on and find another job.
