Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I went into Verizon to ask why my IPhone was only taking 600 photos, when it was taking 3000 before. I had paid cash last year in Aug.2015 for this phone, because I knew i could not afford to make payments on the phone it self. he looked up my account, and said oh your on a program where you trade in your phone in every year, I told him I paid cash for my phone and could not afford a new one, "he said oh its an equal trade-in you pay nothing, I said your sure he said I'm sure
I said ok.. then he went on to say you know you can get a IPad for just 10 dollars extra on your bill a month
I said I cant afford a I pad monthly bill, he then said if you pay 130 for the IPad it will be only 10 extra a month, I said only 10 dollars more a month he said yes, I ask again are you sure, he said yes. as a customer I've been with Verizon for 20 years and no one have ever lied to me before. they took my IPhone 6S and gave me a IPhone 6s plus which looked the same as the one I had, I got my bill two to three weeks later, and they are charging me 35 dollars a month for a new phone 35 dollars a month for 2GB which he said came standard with the phone, start up fees that went over 250.00 on my bill, leaving my bill at about 115 dollars after he was done with me
I had told this man I was on a fix income, and that I could not afford more then 10 extra a month on top of that I have been talking to Verizon about no reception in my house on my IPhone since Aug of last year, they made me buy an extender to make my cell phone work in the house and it still don't work after paying 170 dollars for that. I need help Crystal Gale Farr 619-922-8325"
