Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I am extremely upset with my new Verizon phone. I originally ordered this phone in OCT, not one week into my switch I had to return it because the camera was beyond horrible, it wouldn't take a single unpixelated blurry dark photo. My old phone takes WAY better pictures than this and was better quality. To make sure I went to a Verizon store to show them the quality and they stated that was awful and I should return it. Even though they had no working demo of that phone I took their word for it. I have a newborn baby that I want to capture her first moments with however it makes me upset every time I take a picture because they are blurry and too dark or light. I understand at that time I could have chosen a different phone but I liked the size of the Droid Mini and would have been happy with it if everything was working properly. I received my 2nd device in the mail and low and behold that one was just as awful if not more. This one has more problems then the first phone I received. By the time I realize this the 14 days are over. (even though most of that time was waiting to get my next phone in the mail and when I bought my previous phone it was a 30 day trial) I get one bar of service in one room of my house and the other rooms I get no signal and drop calls are constant. When I was talking to the service rep on that phone I got two dropped calls. Even GPS can’t find my phone to give it a signal. So I can’t even use my navigation service. Not to mention the battery life is a joke. Right after the system update my phone got a virus that took over my phone and I had to do a system restore to remove it. This is beyond unacceptable. I have been a customer for YEARS, although I’m not sure that it means anything to your company by the way I have been treated. I do not think it is reasonable to send out yet again another Droid Mini. It is awful and is not an acceptable device. I can’t keep wasting my time with the same device only to discover it doesn't work. Doesn't it cost more to send out more devices than to get me one that works? YES I understand there is a contract however never did I ask to get out of it, all I want to do is pay the difference to upgrade to a better more reliable phone (Droid Mini $99 to HTC ONE $149 promo ) and continue my contract. I’m not sure why that is such a huge deal. In no way is Verizon out anything."
