Claimant says:
"I was ready for an update on my phone & I do not see well so thought I would get a phone with larger fonts. The person who waited on my fiancé & I said he was there to help clean up the store so he showed me an LG10 phone..I said how much is this phone..he stated $100.00. I said little bit much but if I like the phone maybe., We continued & I began to like the phone so we began the paperwork,. At NO TIME did this man say this phone is $710.00 nor did he say you will have payments on this phone...he said NOTHING...nothing at all. I signed the contract put it in my purse got home and put it with my other important papers. Never looked at it because in my mind it was a done deal. Now on 2-25-16 we get our bill and lo & behold I now have a balance due on this damned phone of $710.00 and 24 months of payments...WTF????? So we went back to the store & the guy is not there but his coworker says he will talk to him and call me...I gave him until Friday the 26th...no call and I have called him several times but to no avail sooo here I am...bitching about Verizon to anyone who will listen. This has to stop! They should not be allowed to get away with this type of crap....I even told them I would pay another $100.00 on the phone but NOT $700.00. Can anyone tell me if I have any recourse at all concerning this issue??? I am very frustrated by businesses who are dishonest.....I HATE dishonest people...I just want no bill due or else they can have this one back & I will use my old phone...can someone help please???
