Claimant says:
"I bought a 4G Jet Pack wireless internet service from a Verizon store. Within a couple of days, I started getting text messages that I was 90% of my allowance. These came repeatably, and I assumed they were a mistake. When I could get back home, I called tech support, and I was told I had used 22 Gigs in five days. Since my prior service was 5 gigs, and I almost never went over that in a month, I assumed there was a technical problem. The tech representative said that this service should only be used for times when no other service was available, as two hrs of streaming movies would exhaust the amount of data allowed, and she said the people at the Verizon store should have informed me of this limitation. I cancelled my service, and now verizon has billed me over $400 for a few days of internet use. I called to get resolution, and got the typical run around, and finally was told I could get $75 off my bill, and there was nothing else they would be able to do. My problem, is that they should have told me I could not stream video or music, as it would exhaust the allowance. The tech support person told me they should have, and this is indefensible to essentially ambush a customer this way. I refused the $75 and asked to have a supervisor contact me, but of course that is not happening."
