Claimant says:
"We booked this package on Travelocity in June 2010 for travel in October 2010 for a total cost of $2761.35. Travelocity cancelled the trip at the end of August, 2010, due to the bankruptcy filing of Mexicana Airlines, and promised a refund. They processed the hotel refund ($1320.07) fairly quickly but I am still waiting for the airfare refund. Travelocity has told us they are waiting for a refund from the airline but as far as I can tell they are doing nothing to get the refund for us. Other travellers have been in the same situation (based on postings on Web sites) and their travel agents have managed to get a refund from Mexicana. We have called on numerous occasions and were told that Travelocity was handling it for us. The last time we called, the Travelocity agent referred us to a phone number that was not in service. Travelocity should have been aware that Mexicana was in bad shape and should not have offered this package. They should make good on their promise of a prompt refund."
