Claimant says:
"I purchased travel insurance and was careful to cover a pre-existing condition which I was told was covered. About a month before the trip, my doctor told me that the condition had worsened and that I should cancel the trip. Now travel guard says that my policy did not cover this pre-existing condition.
Why would someone purchase a policy and pay to make sure a pre-existing condition was covered if they thought the company would not honor this point? They wouldn't.

The whole point of buying the insurance was to cover this eventuality.
I think this is a very UNETHICAL company who tries to find a loop-hole to refuse payment when the customer thought they were covered.

I was left a message that my claim was being denied on my answering machine. Tracy, who made the call,left a number to call if I had questions. I called and left a message that I had some questions and she never called back. This is a very sleazy company!"
