Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"i google the nearest transmission place and trans Mex popped up. i called them and told them everything that was wrong and what i needed done. The first person i talked to quoted me 1495$ and told me the price will stay the same due to the fact they always have trans cases in the basement laying around where they work.so i go in the next day to take my car in and get more details.I go in a speak with Oliver who addressed himself as a manager. i told him what was going on and he told me he will inspect the car and get back with me the next day by 12pm and i told him if there was less work to do inform me because i didnt want to be paying extract for something they didn't do.the next day came and i didnt hear from them until 3 and thats because i called them, when i did talk to Oliver he told me they had not heard anything but he will call me by 5pm, i did not hear from anyone until the next day at 4pm again because i called them after they told me they will get back to me. Oliver then told me it will be $600 more because of the case of the trans was broke. so i told him that i told them that in the beginning and they insured me what my price would be the same, so he then told me he would take $300 off and pay $100 out his pocket which didnt seem right to me. then i call around to different shops and they told me cases are about $100 so i then knew they were trying to get over on me.I was told to come and sign my flex pay papers and get a better understanding on why im paying $200 extra for something i already got a quote for. I ask to speak with a higher authority and he told me the boss over him was out of town , so then i felt like i was pressured to do it because i needed my car fixed. so i signed the papers an left my 700$ deposit. so the next day he called and told me i need bank statements and a letter with my bank's account # and routing number which still should have been stated in the beginning.so i brung it in and when i got there he tell me i need another paper and signatures on them so i ask him why he did not tell me this in the beginning he stated he did but i know for a fact he did not, i also insured him that i was pressed for time i was in a rental and i had to return it in the next hour, but he told me they will not finish my car until he had all papers, so i go all the way back to the bank and came back and still had to wait 3 hours because now they said they had to call the bank and verify it which they didn't get a answer until 3 hours later because the bank tellers were in a branch meeting.to brief it up 3 days after getting my car back they called me and told me to come back up there because they forgot to give me papers to sign and you would think they had it all together after all that time they had me waiting. so basically they gave me false advertising they caused me $50 for returning my rental 3 hours late. All of it was a scam and they had poor customer service they mis lead me and took extra money from me"
